Where have I been??

For those of you who still check out my blog from time to time, you probably are wondering, "why doesn't she post anymore"? Well, I'm sorry... yes, I'm still shooting!! Lots!!!! Its' just that I've joined with a partner, and we have been busy combining our businesses, designing a new website and blog, facebook page, etc. I talked about my new partner a few posts ago, and we have been having a blast shooting together. We recently did a few weddings together, we have had lots of seniors, more weddings to come, and lots and lots of regular portrait sessions! I'm glad to have her on board, as she is me. Who's that kid with the OREO cookie??

I am so lucky, I get to see these little guys pretty often.. I have been able to photograph the baby since soon after she was born.. and her brother is a model and is used to being photographed as well!! They are both pretty used to me, so their photo shoots are extra fun.. who doesn't love a brown and white polka dotted dress with matching OREOS????? YUm!! And we all got to eat the extra cookies.. between my kids and her's, and maybe the grownups, we finished the whole package. Now that's a photo shoot :)

Ist Birthday!

I love first birthday shoots.. i just love this age!! I have a little guy just over one, and he is so much fun. She was so fun too... little tutus, hats.. and boy was she on the go!! Reminded me of my own little guy.. but look at those beautiful blues!!!!!!!! Love the little girls with blue eyes.. I know, I say it all the time, but it's true! Happy Birthday Sweetie :)

Hershey High School Senior Photo

I had the privilege of photographing an amazing football player for Hershey High School.. this was such a fun shoot... we went to his football practice field, so we really got into the football theme... so much, that we had to wait to do his formals in the near future :)

Little 4 lb. newborn!!

What a little sweetheart... this guy was the tiniest baby I have ever seen... he was a few weeks early, but healthy! And he slept like a dream! He let me curl him up all sorts of ways... I love it!! :) He also left some surprises in his mommy and daddy's hands... gotta love it!! :)

Super Exciting Time Coming up!!!!!

Beautiful Baby Blues :)

This little baby and her big brother were shy at first.. the little baby has the most beautiful blue eyes.. i love baby blue eyes on a little girl.. how sweet! She was shy and stayed so still for me.. her big brother was a real trooper.. he smiled so nicely, with no problem! And such a handsome little guy!! :)

Sweet Sister!

What hams!! These two cuties were fun to photograph.. it started raining when we began to shoot.. and by the time we were done.. it was POURING! Good thing for the front porch.. i just love the sparkly blue and twinkly brown eyes with the bright colors.. so Pretty!!!!!!!!

Big Brother ,little sister :)

These two were super cute... big brother sure made sure to "take care" of little sister.. and I could tell he really loved her! Hard not to, she was super cute!!

Twins!!!!!!!

Super cute sweeties, from a super sweet girl I have known for a long time (although i haven't seen her in quite a few years!! ) These twins were so cute.. they made the scrunchiest little faces.. they were hilarious! They have very distinct little personalities, so by the END of the shoot, I could tell them apart. I love twins!!

Sweet Sisters!

I love photographing sisters... it's such a fun relationship to watch, and these sweeties did not disappoint!! The little one was one of the most cooperative toddlers I have ever photographed.. and her older sister was shy and sweet. Easy and fun job for me!! :)

Kevin- Senior Photography

Wow.. what a model! This guy was GREAT!!! He had the BEST outfits picked out, and was a great natural poser. He was So fun to photograph! Kevin loves soccer so we made sure to capture some photographs of him with his ball and cleats. I also got to photograph his mom and sister (who I work with at Central Penn!) What a fun family!! :)

Sweet Baby Maura

What a little doll! you know how I love those newborn girls.. having fun with headbands, flowers, etc. And she really embarassed her first time parents by leaving a few noisy "surprises" all over her daddy and the blankets during the photo shoot. I certainly dont' mind.. it happens all the time! And with babies cute, how can you care?? :)

Dean Family

This Family was so fun to be around!! WE went to Founder's Hall for their photos and just had a great afternoon! Talk about some laughs, for sure! Lots of love with the Dean Family! I've known Shantih for a while from the scrapbooking world, and it was great to have the opportunity to photograph her family. Congrats to her daughter, who is going to Pitt for engineering. Yeah!!!!!!!!

Maria and Jon

What can I say? This wedding was wonderful in every way. I cried during the ceremony. I get so embarassed when I cry at weddings, and I am the photographer. But I am very "into" my couple and my wedding, and I get to know them, and well, it just chokes me up. I LOVE it! Maria and Jon are amazing.. their love for God and each other was so evident and just inspiring to watch. They both come from super big families, and are just the sweetest people. The whole day was super hot and humid, but all day I just kept thinking how much I loved being at their wedding, and having the honor of photographing their love for each other, family and friends. Then I teared up again at the reception during the toast, and during the dances. It was a beautiful reception, at a renovated loft in the historic district of downtown Carlisle.. the Carlisle Ribbon Mill. This place was a photographers DREAM! It was just gorgeous with lots of natural light, sunlight, old brick, etc. What a beautiful place for a reception.. I highly recommend it! NOT to mention, Dickinson College was a block down the road, and the beautiful opportunities for photos there makes my heart race!! (Did I mention that I love my job?? :)) I got lucky again, with a bridal party that was up for anything.. even with a pregnant one! What a beautiful day Maria and Jon, and thanks for letting me be a part of it!
